Mouse Control in Greater Manchester & Cheshire
PestCore provides mouse control Manchester property owners can rely on, including inspection, assessment and an appropriate control programme. Mice can contaminate food, damage property and spread disease, so we also look at where the problem is coming from and identify potential entry points.
Our mouse control programme includes an initial inspection and assessment, control and monitoring for up to 3 visits, and identification of potential entry points. We can also carry out proofing and associated repairs to help prevent mice getting back in.

Signs You May Have Mice
Mice are often active at night and can remain hidden in wall cavities, cupboards and other sheltered areas. You may not see a mouse directly, but there are several common signs that can indicate activity in or around your property.
-
Scratching noises – particularly at night from walls, ceilings, floors, loft spaces or behind kitchen units.
-
Gnaw marks – damage to food packaging, wood, plastic, cables and other materials.
-
Smear marks – dark marks along frequently used routes, edges and openings.
-
Nesting material – shredded paper, fabric, insulation or other soft materials.
-
Food or packaging damage – small holes, torn packets or signs of feeding.
If you've noticed any of these signs, PestCore can inspect the property, identify the extent of the activity and determine the most appropriate way forward.

Mouse Proofing & Prevention

Entry Point Proofing
Mice can gain access through very small gaps and openings around pipework, walls, floors and other vulnerable areas. We can identify and proof suitable entry points where required.
Air Bricks & Vents
Damaged or unprotected air bricks and vents can provide potential access while still needing to maintain ventilation. We can install suitable pest-resistant protection where appropriate.
Associated Repairs
Where building defects are contributing to the problem, PestCore can carry out minor associated remedial repairs to help reduce the risk of mice gaining access again.
